Spec-Elec Plating has the facilities to specialize in gold electroplating of small electrical components and connectors. Our gold product reveals a unique sharp yellow color, while maintaining high standards for the metal finishes integrity and durability through a series of adhesion tests. The finished product will enable consistent and uniform conductivity for long periods of time. It also provides good corrosion resistance and solderability for a wide array of customer needs. Gold Plating is commonly used for electrical contacts, connectors, or various types of pins, and can consist of anything from a “gold flash” to .00005 or 50 micro inches of gold.
